simonlittle Posted Friday at 09:31 Posted Friday at 09:31 Hello folks Just thought I’d let you know that the new The Divine Comedy album is out today. We recorded this back in September last year at Abbey Road. There’s a bit of upright bass and the rest is pretty much all on the Wilcock bass I bought off the lovely @Old Man Rivajust before the sessions started. And for those interested the electric bass was always running through the Jad Freer Capo I bought off @Chadu25 too so the Basschat Marketplace has had a big influence on bottom end of this record! Hope you like it 😎 Simon 3 Quote
Kirky Posted Friday at 09:47 Posted Friday at 09:47 Looking forward to hearing this. "To the Rescue" is one of my favourite songs/records of recent years. 1 Quote

cybertect Posted Saturday at 01:53 Posted Saturday at 01:53 (edited) I thoroughly enjoyed the selection of songs you played in Kingston this evening (I may have a few photos to post here later 😉 ) The lyrics Mar-a-Lago by the Sea had me and my wife screaming Oh and that Wilcock is very pretty Edited Saturday at 01:53 by cybertect 1 Quote

I was wondering if anyone from here might have been there last night. You’ll have to let me know next time you come to a show; always nice to meet other bass players on TDC gigs! 2 Quote
