Sharkfinger Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Does anyone else have a problem with this? I frequently hit the wrong button or more that one together, especially when getting to the back row. Happens most often when I'm doing backing vocals and can't look down effectively. The only way round this I can see it to have my mic pointing so that I'm looking down when I sing, which would look weird IMO. I'm actually thinking of putting my Helix at the back of my board and putting my most frequently used (separate) pedals back on the board. Is there maybe an external footswitch that will work for it, that I can put at the front, so I can continue using to use the Helix for these effects? Quote
simonlittle Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Not being funny but have you experimented with a narrower shoe for gigs? I have this problem even with separate pedals; especially if I’m wearing Doc Martens! Same thing with overly pointy shoes. Never happens in rehearsals when I’m invariably wearing sneakers… 1 Quote
Sharkfinger Posted 3 hours ago Author Posted 3 hours ago I see what you're saying but it happens when I'm wearing trainers too. If I can easily look down, it greatly reduces the problem but I do a fair amount of BVs. 1 Quote
simonlittle Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Singing BVs whilst stomping on pedals is always a risky business. I’ve struggled with that one too… 🙄 1 Quote
