BobNeville12 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I've got a vintera precision, about six months old.my problem is the d string buzzes on the lower frets.to stop it I have to add really high relief, but the frets choke out on the highest frets.its also digustingly crap to play.if I set relief to .30mm at the eighth fret and action at 5/64ths on E at the 17th fret,it plays beautifully everywhere except for the D at the low frets.ive since levelled the frets and it's still doing it.ive tried three different sets of strings,la bella ,ghs precision and fender flats.im at a loss.any ideas? Silky999 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Have you checked if the nut slot for the D is too low or a twisted neck? Quote
