thisisswanbon Posted July 14 Posted July 14 Howdy! Bit of a funny one for me but hopefully the more learned folks of basschat can help me out! I've got a Sushibox Space heater (the same one I luckily decided not to sell a couple of months back!) and mid gig yesterday the volume suddenly dropped and went completely. Mid gig trouble shooting brought it to the sushi box, and I'm wondering if it's the tube. Anything in particular I should been looking out for? Is there a better model of tube people use as replacement? I'm made of questions! Cheers! Paul 1 Quote

GR7G5TER Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago (edited) Did you get this sorted? Preamps tubes can last for a very long time, but sometimes they crap out! JJ tubes are generally very solid and reliable Edited 10 hours ago by GR7G5TER my bad spelling Quote

I admittedly go through spurts where I either let things sit in the inbox for a couple days or immediately clear everything out, and there isn't much space in between for "normal communication." Thanks for the replies both - Yes I got it sorted, I changed the tube and turns out this was the issue 🙂 Yes, you did reply to me Nathan, you advised to swap the tube and kindly offered a warranty repair on anything other than this which was very much appreciated and fortunately not needed 🙂 Quote
