shoulderpet Posted Monday at 17:37 Posted Monday at 17:37 Hi I will shortly be moving to using iems for gigs. As someone with tinnitus I use ear plugs to prevent any more hearing damage and would like a set of headphones that I can use that will attenuate the sound level of outside sounds to a similar level. Having had a look it looks like drummer headphones is the solution however I see that a lot of these are very bulky, is there anything that is low/low-ish profile that will protect my hearing? Thank you Quote

BlueMoon Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Just to clarify….you are looking for low profile over-the-ear headphones that receive a signal for use in monitoring and provide some attenuation. Not in ears ((iem’s) or over-the-ear noise defenders that cannot receive a signal. Quote

Sorry I should have responded to this thread, I looked into over the ear headphones but was having issues finding ones that were sufficiently non bulky and with good attenuation, in the end after some research I ended up buying a set of Shure iems that are due to arrive tomorrow, fingers crossed these work for me 🤞 1 Quote
