Markbass STU 1000 head deal

Don't know if this is of interest to anyone, but they're knocking 300 euros off the price of the STU Amp 1000 head on their site as they're discontinuing the model.  Link here:

I haven't checked out shipping costs, etc., but I doubt if they add up to more than the saving!  Of course, you'd need a plug adapter for use in the UK.

I realise that EU is mostly 230V and the UK is still actually 240V but that the allowable margins are quite wide (about 230 to 250V in the UK) but I wonder if there would be any warranty cover for power related issues.

 

I'd like to try one - looks very much like the old Hartke HA3500 that Stu used for years.

I'd more interested  if  the  unit could handle a 2 ohm load. In this day and age I  would have thought that an Amp Designer would consider that.
