Bought recently on the forum but I am happier (and have years of experience with) my simple Sansamp, so am putting this up for sale. I paid £285 delivered and am hoping to recoup this. It could be that when the voltage is stepped up, the available current is lowered proportionally so a 500mA 9V output would then become 375mA at 12V. (That’s how it functions on my Strymon Zuma.) I’ve also seen some converters (such as the one by One Spot) that has a capped amount of current it can convert; again, this may be what happened in your case.
