The Czech-Ease is a full sounding bass with an abbreviated body that makes it more portable than its full-bodied cousins without losing the true sound and feel of a double bass. The instrument is one of choice of Dave Holland, Esmeralda Spalding and Chris Wood..

These basses are now discontinued, but this particular bass is in perfect condition with no marks or scratches. It has only had one owner and limited home studio use, and has not been used for gigs. It comes fitted with a Gage Realist pickup and adjustable bridge. It also comes with a well-padded gig bag.

I had one of these. As @Canzonasays, they have the sound and feel of a full sized acoustic upright, but in a smaller bodied instrument.

I wish I could have justified keeping mine, especially as these will now surely appreciate in value, since being discontinued.
