Mike Pope preamp, imported from the States and was installed professionally in my Watwick Streamer and dis-installed professionally.

 

Volume, Balance, Stack Knob (Bass and Treble) Stack Knob (Lo and Hi mid).   Amazing sound, 18v.or 9v.   Extra battery in the Streamer fitted in the control cavity without having to alter anything.  Can work with other basses, of course.

These are great preamps and I have one installed in one of my basses at present. Just in case anyones looking at this and thinks they only have space for 1 battery.....no problem the pre will work fine off 9v. 👍 I've attached the manual which confirms this (page 5 bottom left).
