Fender American Performer Mustang Bass in Satin Surf Green.

 

I love this bass and it has a lovely playable satin neck that I'll really miss, but I bought with my heart rather than with my head and it doesn't really suit the classic rock cover band that I play in and it's not getting used as it should be.

 

It has a small ding on the top edge as you look down at the bass. It really does look worse on the photo than in real life(damn those highly accurate mobile phone cameras on portrait mode)!

 

The colours in the photos vary from what looks like daphne blue to surf green but it is definitely surf green as shown in the last photo.

 

I bought this new from PMT Newcastle in June 2023.

 

Includes padded Fender gig bag and the certificate of authentication.

 

I may be interested in trades for an American Performer Precision bass or a 5 string bass.

I have the exact same bass & finish, I'd highly recommend anyone getting one, so easy to play and lovely tone with the PJ pickups. That's a good price.

Agreed on all counts - I paid [used] over £900 for my Aubergine one, and yes, they are excellent basses. There's something about the American Performer. I've got the Competition Burgundy Vintera II as well and nice bass though it is, the Am.Perf is genuinely a step above in both playability and quality. Definitely one of my go-to basses.
