Bought one for my lad a few years ago, great kit.

 

Although they're a darn sight quieter than a full acoustic kit, they aren't quiet, especially if it's going in an upstairs room.

Ebay turned up a DD502 Bass Drum Tower (same as the Alesis tower...) and Kick Pedal (slightly different design...)

So it's Double Bass Drum Time!

Cue... Over Kill!!!

I was asking our drummer about double pedals, as boyo was after one. Turns out he had a spare one, and so sold it to my son. Actually works really well on the Nitro kit Kick pad.

Sorry, not great with adding pics/hyperlinks but this vid has link to the secret user guide where you can mix the drum sounds from different kits. I did it, also add a bit of reverb to make them sound a bit better.
