bassatnight Posted September 7, 2023 Share Posted September 7, 2023 Hi, My second hand Stealth HH 4 string Bongo has a small chip from the slot holding the G string. Sadly I believe it came like this, being an idiot I didn’t notice for several weeks as the bass has been unplayed as the day after it arrived I was flying off on the honeymoon. I have taken her out today for a play and noticed the chip. I am hoping that Musicman will supply me with a replacement nut, but I”d rather not attempt to remove the old one and pop in the new one when it arrives, can anyone recommend a luthier in Cambridgeshire that might be able to carry this out for me?
