The Bartolini active contour thing it has is pants. I'd be missing a trick if I didn't ask here about experiences/opinions of the BTB02. It does what it's supposed to do perfectly. Say no more! I think I'm sold on it to be honest. I did consider the uni-pre but it's a far more complex beast & it's simplicity I'm after. Hellzero Posted April 20, 2023 Share Posted April 20, 2023 It's a simple 2 bands EQ, with center frequencies well chosen and just the right amount of boost. Compared to a Uni-Pre, it's easier to use and you get the sound you're after instantly. I also find it more transparent than other East products, which, to me, is a great advantage.
