Hey, everyone!

I would love to read peoples thoughts on what effects Victor Bailey is using on the track ‘The Rope-A-Dope’ from the album ‘That’s Right!’.

It’s on his solo around at 1:49.

I’ve tried messing around with my MXR Bass Envelope Filter and my Boss Super Octave OC-3 but the track doesn’t seem to have as much low end as an octave pedal would give.

Thoughts would be very much appreciated.

Best, Mark

Sounds like a harmoniser

Yes like a digitech whammy or something, maybe the Boss Harmoniser. He did scat along with his solos a lot too.
