MungoBass Posted December 30, 2022 Share Posted December 30, 2022 (edited) Bought this thinking it would be a great bass for my little grandson but I should have checked the size first! It is long scale! I believe it is about 12 or so years old and is in overall nice condition with very few dings and scratches. The neck has some nice flame and the capped maple fingerboard is also in good condition as are the frets. The pickups provide the expected P depth. The bridge screws, saddles and springs have some tarnishing but function fine, likewise the tuners. I don’t have a case or gig bag but could source gig bag (at extra cost) for posting if required. This could be a great bass as a starter, someone who wants to try a P, modding, breaking it and using certain parts for your own projects or as I was tempted to do.....try my hand at relicing! Around 3.9kgs or just over 8 1/2 lbs, according to the bathroom scales with just me, then me plus bass! I also tried it on some kitchen scales too. Hope that helps.
