Edenburgh Posted December 12, 2022 Author Share Posted December 12, 2022 Nothing stamped or moulded on the covers. But done a little more digging. There's a number 048614 stamped on the bottom of the pickup. This, it turns out, is the Fender part number for the bobbin which (according to a thread on Talkbass) changed to plastic in 1999.
