2018 Fender LTD 70’s Precision.  

 

Ash body with a Maple neck and fingerboard and the very unusual black binding makes this an unusual and rare bass.  

 

I understand these have American pickups which certainly explains why it sounds so good!

 

The tuners are the 70 style complete with Fender embossed on the plates.  

 

The frets are in excellent condition as can be seen in the pictures.

 

The body, headstock and pickguard finish is not highly glossy but more of a satin finish which looks and feels great. I sense a previous owner may have used a very, very fine sandpaper to dull the finish. 

 

There are no significant dings and it has a very nice action.

 

The Fender Deluxe gig bag is in great shape too.

Yes, made in Mexico. MX17 serial number and Fender serial number look up says it was ‘born’ in March 2018.
