Musicman20 Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 (edited) I've never heard a bass tone excite me as much as a Ray. I love a P bass but the first time I heard a Ray and realised what it was (I was about 13) that was it, sold. They both sound great if i'm honest. Edited April 13, 2022 by Musicman20 1 Quote

So I will just have to put up with that. The special necks are on the thin side, between a P and a J I would guess. Quote
TrevorG Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 On my speakers there's no contest. The P sits in the mix way better for fingers and slap. Great playing! Quote
