Help, Ampeg, Flip Top Cab, head change! Doable?

I’m sat thinkin’, the way you do. I’ve owned the 50 Watt Valve Jobby with 1 x 12”  Ampeg Cab and a Roland Sub. Long gone gone vanity projects now. How would it be to put another head in place of the Ampeg PF models. 
 

Anybody done this?

 

This is the style of cab this is clip not sure if it’s 15” or 2 x 10” cab. Anybody tried to fit another head in the space?

 

I have a McGregor 1u 650Watt head,

• Width: 400MM
• Depth: 260MM
• Height: 43MM
• Weight: 12KG

 

I’m thinking it’ll go, but, big expense to find it doesn’t!

Any help greatly appreciated.

You can still get them new but you’re looking at nearly £900.

Its the Cab issue I’m interested in guys
