I'm offering this beautiful bass up for sale/trade.

i.m.o. it is one of the best sounding and most versatile passive jazz basses ever made (check the video).

The bass is mint except for one little ding in the finish on the underside towards the back (you don't even notice it unless you really look for it. Will ad detailed pictures later!), so I'd give it an 9/10.

Soundwise this thing is a beast, the neck pickup goes from a Gibson EB type sound to a P-bass on steroids kinda sound and the bridge pickup goes from a 70's style jazz pu sound to full on Musicman growl,

It is no doubt a very versatile little beast for a passive instrument and she will be missed..

RRP for these is 1350Euro or +-1200£, so I'd set the trade value at +-750£ and cash price at 650£,

I still have the box it came in so shipping is no problem. ;)

Feel free to give me a shout if you have any questions.

The video above gives a nice overview of the different sounds you can get with the passive controls, the video below shows the bass in action in the hands of Lorenzo Feliciati .

Kind regards,

stay healthy and safe!

Close-up  of the ding on the back (other than that the bass is close to mint and she just had a thorough clean and set-up with a new set of Labella LTF's):

I had already withdrawn this,

but I've now seen a fretless I like so I'm offering this back up for sale for as long as the fretless is available. :)

The bass is only listed here atm.

Some more pictures I took this morning.

As I've already got my eye on a nice fretless 5'er I'm mainly looking for a straight sale,

but I might still be interested in some (very specific!) trades, be it either a fretless 5 string PJ  OR a decent shortscale, pref. a   Mustang JMJ or similar.

Kind regards,

Stay Safe!

I really like this bass.
Good looking, maybe a little bit too flamboyant, but really neat. :)
The placement of the bridge pickup is the thing, in my opinion. My main basses are fan fret Dingwalls and Payson, but this one would definitely suit me well. Weren't it for the Gig Lockdown...

I like it, but my bank account doesn't At the moment.

      Hi all,
Now fully up for sale, Part-Ex options would be a Lakland Skyline DJ5 with cash my way too, possibly a Lakland 55-60, or maybe a Precision 4 string of some description.
I love this Evolution, sounds awesome, light swamp ash body and looks great. It's a solid 9/10 for condition I'd say. A couple of small indentations, but nothing I'm able to photograph well. Stock, these basses come with Bartolini single-coils, however I've swapped those out for Bartolini dual coils that came direct from Rob Elrick.
      So spec is:
      35″ scale
      Swamp Ash Body
      8.5 Lbs (approx)
      Satin Matte Black Finish
      3-piece Quarter-Sawn Maple Neck
      Ebony Fretboard
      24 frets
      2-way adjustable truss rod
Bartolini hum cancelling Dual-coil soapbar pickups (Made in the USA)
Bartolini 3-band pre-amp w/3-way mid and active bypass (Made in the USA)
      Fully shielded control cavity
      Black Hipshot Ultra-light tuners
Black Elrick bridge – by Hipshot (Made in the USA)
Dunlop Dual Design strap buttons (Straplok compatible!) (Made in the USA)
I'll also include a Fusion Urban gig bag in excellent condition!
No way of shipping just at the moment, but happy to organise a socially distanced handover. As such, UK only for now.

SOLD ----- £70 - Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder Jazz pickups.
      SOLD ----- Hipshot BT-2 D-Tuner
SOLD ----- Kiogon Jazz loom for series / parallel switching.
      SOLD ----- Schaller BMF tuners.
      Thanks for looking,

Hello! Up for sale a very nice Rapture 4. If I remember correctly it's the same model used by the Muse's bass player. As you can see, extremely clean example, good sounding, no issues. Pretty sure it's got Alder body, Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard and Bartolini soapbar.
Comes with original form-fitted case. Can ship worldwide by UPS, ask for a quote with your postal code... payment by bank wire transfer or PayPal. I have feedbacks here and on ebay. For more informations, pictures etc. drop me a line.
