Trace Elliot AH 150 GP11 MK V bass head

Hi,i have been keeping and keeping this amp for a spare/backup,but now have 4 amp heads so looking to sell it.
I bought it new i think around 1987,it cost £468 back then,used it for about 5 years until i bought a 250AH...I have used it occasionally but thats it...any help with a price from you learned Tracy buffs i would be gratefull..cheers Ady

£200 is about right for their utility adn portability.
Demo alongside anything under £500 and it will win on most counts.

They are small and they really punch.
They stuff an Ashdown 300 and give the 500 a good run for its money.

They have the same power supply as the AH300 - difference is number of output transistors.
As always with bass stuff, more in = more out, so beefier sounding than the AH300 (which 'needs' that power).

Main reliability iissue is the pre/amp cooupler. Fiddly to get at, but a hardwire fix sorts that stupid clip thing they used.
After that, it is contact cleaning.

I have two very scruffy ones that I wouldn't take less than £125 for.

Not completely on topic (sorry) but how does the Mk VI AH200 compare? I bought one recently but haven't been able to compare it with anything else.

Interesting. How do you get the clip off? I tried and gave up.
