I keep sneaking a P bass into our band practices and the powers that be in the band (lead singer) keeps insisting I stick with my Hofner, so as much as I love this bass it's got to go to someone who will use it. I originally had a USA jazz neck on it (it's for sale as well), and had the loaded body for sale here. But I decided to put a P bass neck on it and found a very nice Mighty Mite neck for sale. It's a perfect fit for the neck pocket and the bass is set up with nice action. The neck has had a "F" logo applied and it's been amber nitro sprayed to give it a bit more of an aged look. Here are the details: -NW Guitars American Alder body -Custom built (my local luthier) wiring harness. Fender CS '62 Pick Ups...my absolute favourite pick ups. -4kg weight. -Gotoh aged re-o-lite tuners -A beat up "F" logo neck plate -d'Addario Chrome flatwounds -The Schaller strap pins aren't included. I'll include a set of non locking pins. The two nuts you see on the E and A strings are to keep the string winding off the saddles.....my usual fix for the long windings on Chromes....
