Just bought this off E bay. £110. What a guitar for the money
It has been set up by a guy called Perfectly good guitars in Manchester.
The quality for a Jap instrument is superb. Super low action, no dead spots
nice chunky Badass style solid bridge and solid alder body with maple neck.
It plays as good as my USA Fender Jazz.
That's a J&D Brothers, right? They're chinese made - distributed (for what that's worth) by PROEL over here....

Looks real neat for what you paid for it....
It is indeed a J & D brothers bass and I think It is made in China although it doesn't say anywhere on
the bass where it is made.
The action is comparable with basses that cost 5x as much cash and it sounds superb through
an amp. It also has a real wood body( Alder )
Anyone who fancies a dable on a 5 stringer and doesn't want to part with a load of hard earned
readies then I would recommend this bass any day.
I also play A Status S2 Classic and a Usa Fender Jazz so this fiver has a lot to live up to.

This sounds like the bloke I bought a guitar off way back. It was a real nice PRS Copy. It was identical to the one made by Harley-Benton but the action was the lowest I'd ever seen on a guitar. Frets were all nicely stoned and dressed, and the sound was ok too. The body was mahogany but it was about a 5 piece body, this was my only gripe. The rest was great for the money.
