I've put this up for a bass player friend, who also final-assembles many of my preamps.

His reason for wanting to sell is, as he says: "Too many parameters!"

So anyone interested, please contact COLIN BATEMAN directly on 01865 558086

(I trust this doesn't break any rules, he's off-line at the moment)

[quote name='finnbass' post='37965' date='Jul 27 2007, 08:25 PM']Buying from the States is always a bit dodgy..import duties, VAT, warranty issues etc.

However, I have just bought one from Thomann, £450, full warranty and free delivery so that should be a good benchmark.

So that's for a 4 string Steve, good deal.

So happens Colin got his 705 (5 string) from Thomann too, cost him £675 inc. delivery, tax etc.

He did try to buy one from the USA for around 500 dollars, need to add shipping, duty & VAT etc, but was unable to buy as there was no stock, hence going to Thomann.

All being well, he'll be on line shortly and be able to answer any enquiries directly.

John
