High score Posted December 17, 2008 Share Posted December 17, 2008 Hello All, Like many here, been a closet reader of this site but decided to come out !! A Jock based in the North East for many years (Jarra Lad now) and a big music nut. Been a bed room guitarist for a long time, recently picked up the bass and simply loving it !! My main bag in the past has been covering pa/ mixing for live bands. Covered a lot of indie/ rock bands but belonged to a Rush tribute band until they stopped playing last year. Main tastes in music tend to be Sabbath, zep, tull, blues - wow really shows my age......... As a new bass player, really looking forward to learning more from the many threads and (hopefully) might even be able to contribute sometime !! Won't bore you with the guitars and amps but bass gear: PRS 4, swampash - imported new from the States this year (with other gear) when the £/ $ was good and got it for silly ££ Ampeg svt6 pro Ampeg svt 410hlf Took a lot of advice from players, know what it sounds like at the desk and just used my money when I could to get decent kit - took a long time to get there.........
