cLepto-bass Posted April 4, 2019 Share Posted April 4, 2019 (edited) Yet again I find myself seeking insight from the collective wisdom of the bass community. Relatively simple one this, I hope. I am on the hunt for someone/somewhere (ideally UK based) who can cut and age a custom pickguard/scratchplate using the existing one as a template. Nothing fancy, just a simple 1 ply black J type (5 string). Given that my bass is well over 15 years (and shows all the marks) I would like to steer away from pristine shiny new ones and rather get one that looks more sympathetic to the cosmetic condition of the bass.
