Baxlin Posted September 26, 2018 Share Posted September 26, 2018 I’m trying to move to wireless in-ears monitoring, via Bluetooth, but can’t pair the transmitter with the phones. I note that the phones are Bluetooth 4.1, but the Tx is 4.0. Could this be the reason? I would have thought that the later (presumably) 4.1 would incorporate earlier versions, but maybe not. Dood Posted September 26, 2018 Share Posted September 26, 2018 I'd stop you there before you do get paired. Wireless In-Ear monitoring via Bluetooth I'm afraid won't go well. The latency between a note being played and getting to your ears is so long it will really mess with your time keeping. Bluetooth just isn't able to do real time audio transfer. It's also not a very resilient connection. You'll find it will drop often in live environments. Listening to normal music will be fine, or if you are playing along to music and have a bass amplifier sat in the room that you can hear ambiently. 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
