Risk101 Posted August 8, 2018 Share Posted August 8, 2018 (edited) So I bought this lovely bass as a back up for some gigs I was doing over Easter just in case I had a problem with my main and then only, bass (a Shuker - yes stupid to think there would be a problem). Of course it was not used, and has been hanging on the wall ever since, having been played at rehearsals once or twice only. So it is genuinely in "as new" condition, and they retail for around £480. It has a lovely translucent black quilted maple top over a basswood body, so it isn't too heavy. (about 3.8kg) String spacing at the bridge is a comfy 18mm. The manufacturers spec appears below. And yes, it is a neck-thru bass, not to be confused with the cheaper bolt-ons. I've got a Fender Jazz on the way as a replacement back-up, so "one in, one out" I am in Essex and work in London. Its actually a surprisingly good all-rounder, and you can dial in something akin to a nice jazz or funk sound which is quite amusing given the dramatic shape of it !
