grahamd Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 (edited) Great 1991 Precision neck, well set up for 45's, has been on my gigging bass for the last few years and plays beautifully, had little use before it came to me. Schaller lic. Tuners and string tree, frets in good order. Lovely dark rosewood, skunk stripe. Nut all good. One mark on the back at fifth fret. Price includes UK postage Edited August 23, 2017 by grahamd
lownote Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 (edited) True p bass width at the nut or a sort of hybrid jazz/ p width? Could I trust the rod? Edited August 16, 2017 by lownote12
Marc S Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 (edited) Ditto question from me - what's the nut width? And what's the profile like? Is it a chunky P type neck or a newer style C profile? Sorry - that's lots of questions EDIT: Haven't picked up an early Korean Squier in a long time Edited August 16, 2017 by Marc S
grahamd Posted August 16, 2017 Author Posted August 16, 2017 (edited) Hi all it's 42mm at the nut. Truss works fine. It's proper P, but not as chunky as some I've tried, doesn't taper a massive amount front to back, in my limited P experience I've found it very comfy and the lawsuit Tokai that's replacing it feels similar Edited August 17, 2017 by grahamd
Marc S Posted August 17, 2017 Posted August 17, 2017 Thanks for that Grahamd, Getting yourself a Tokai eh? Nice What year / era? I had a Tokai pickup in a Japan P bass once -sounded amazing.... wish I'd kept that pickup
grahamd Posted August 17, 2017 Author Posted August 17, 2017 I got the white lawsuit 84 on sale on BC recently, currently in for a setup. This ones from my bitsa PJ which now sports a Warmoth fretless neck
