Ashdown ABM 500 + Vintage ABM 212

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I'm very sad to have to part ways with this rig, But its to big for me to lug about everywhere. No sound quality problems, and its Very very loud.
I bought it of another BCer a few months ago. :)

Head: Ashdown ABM 500 "Prototype"
According to the previous owner, This was one of the 3 original ABM prototypes that ashdown made when they were making the Original ABM series. Though being a Prototype, there are no bugs in it at all its all lovely head, you can get so much tone out of the EQ, its brilliant. Usual suspects for the features;

2 inputs, High and Low
Vu Metre
Input mix
Push flat
EQ
Sub Harmonics
Output mute
pre/post EQ
DI Out put (on the front)
Tuner out
Sub Out
2 Cooling fans

Cab: Vintage ABM 212
One of Ashdowns first range of Cabs, apparently loaded with Precision Devices Speakers, done by the previous owner. Rated for 300 watts at 8 ohms

I can corriuer at buyer expense and i can spilt the 2 up.
250£ for the Head and 150£ and i'll give you a 20£ discount if you buy both.
Your free to collect if you can make it down to pompey, as well as to try them

I am also open to offer for trades,
Heads/Cabs/Combos, Preferably compact (Tracy/Warwick/Eden but offer what you have and i'll see  )
Might do swaps for basses depending on what they are as well as any good synths or keyboard laying about.
Thanks!

You can now listen to the rig on my bands myspace which is
