Currently, I play an Epiphone Thunderbird IV but have a few problems with it: the balance, the look and the slightly broken bridge.

I'm in a local band, and we gig semi regularly.

Anyway, I was trawling the internet looking for an upgrade/replacement to my thunderbird and came across the Yamaha RBX4-A2. But I haven't found much out about if it, and its 'A.I.R' are any good.

Anyone know anything? :)

Love it :) thanks!

Now just have to find somewhere locally that stocks one or someone who owns one.

Or tie a brick to my Thunderbird...

I've played a couple of these in stores & it seems to be a nice enough instrument. The lit-up pots are quite cool & EF didn't mention in the video that it has a slap ramp on the end of the board as well. I can't help thinking that it's overpriced, though. Look at the spec of the BB-614 which has an active preamp with 3-band eq & is usually around £100 cheaper.

Yep spot on that Rich.....^

Wait 6 months for a newer model to come out and these will be discounted to that £100 cheaper price tag and then they will be a good buy I reckon....
