Scooby Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 (edited) I bought this recently as I fancied having a headless bass around! While it is a fine bass and sounds great, the neck profile is very much like a Precision bass and I much prefer a slimmer neck. The details: it's a 34" scale, 40mm top nut, 18mm string spacing at the bridge (string centre to centre), weighs 4kg and comes with a brand new Gator hard case. The bass required a complete set-up when it arrived, a clean and new strings, The bass does not use double ball end strings but utilises a clamping system so much easier to use ordinary strings. The electronics are passive and are volume, volume and a toggle switch to select either neck pick-up, bridge or both. Very easy to dial-in a range of tones! Edited November 28, 2016 by Scooby
