tommorichards Posted February 2, 2016 Share Posted February 2, 2016 For sale £150 The man behind the chowny semi hollow basses had this made up as a prototype in china, being a mix between a stingray (body shape) and a rick (the rest of it). Sounds pretty decent, not exactly like a rick, but something close. The neck pickup has the deep you'd imagine, while the bridge pickup doesnt have too much thin. And together just sounds lovely. Its a tad dusty, could do with some new strings, but besides that, it is a sweet bass. Quite comfortable. Pickguard is a little rough, but works. Even has a nice bit of flame maple on the top if you're into that sort of thing. Based in wallasey. Swing by for a try if you wish. Id prefer not to post, and can meet up halfway somewhere.
