Can I disconnect the jazz pup(bridge) and use the 250k pot (which was previously used to regulate the jazz pup's volume) to regulate the tone of the P pup (neck)? I have the schematics from G&L so it shouldn't be a problem. I just wasn't sure the vol pot was suitable. Thanks in advance for the Bass Chat wisdom. Phil. Sometimes I can't even be bothered to go back and change the 'b' to upper case :-) And now I don't have to buy or change any parts just disconnect the bridge pup and alter the wiring.
