eubassix Posted December 21, 2015 Posted December 21, 2015 I have one of the earlier (original) NE1's and still find it one of the best playing/sounding 5's I've used. The 'set' (adjustable) mid-range is a bit less flexible then the Mk2, but the internal (cavity) mids-wheels make it posisble to set the +/- to a desired level. Not had the opportunity to try a Mk2 but assume it'll be of the same incredible quality/playability. Exceptional instrument at the price.
