First tried the pedal power on but then cut off after 30sec.the power supply is not original and the boss power supply i tried also does the same thing. RAY AGAINST THE MACHINE Posted July 1, 2015 Share Posted July 1, 2015 I got mine brand new when it came out. Over time, i found the expression pedal git stiff and squeaky. Playing live, when switching fir a couple of bassic presets they ofyen got stuck and sounded badly distorted. Even when going through the presets , they ofyen get stuck. Having said that , you could take it to a music sop and test unit if youwere to buy a new psu. The Zoom needs a 1A supply, the Boss one is probably only 500mA and will power the unit up for a few seconds before the over current protection kicks in and switches it off.
