nick Posted June 23, 2015 Share Posted June 23, 2015 (edited) Just picked this beauty up whilst on a trip up north: 1984 Ibanez RB850 I had one (exactly the same) back in the day & sold it to buy another Ibanez, an '83 RB920 which I still have. Cleaned it up, quick set up, fresh strings, and it plays lovely. Pickups are as monstrous as I remembered them. The humbuckers with individual coil taps on each control, which provide a wide variety of tones for a passive instrument. This is a cracking bass, really good build quality.
