Having previously owned this bass I'm happy to say that it's not just a good looker, but an amazing players bass.

At the same time I owned this one, I had another original '66 made in the same month and very close in serial number ( pretty sure it's May '66 iirc), the other one was battered and a real players bass, it was good but not even close to as good as this one. The tone is lovely and the neck is very comfortable, plus it's quite light weight. Blows away the often unfair myth that the mint condition ones were the bad ones so remained unplayed, not this bass for sure.
