Bassistclem Posted January 22, 2015 Share Posted January 22, 2015 I have a Japanese Fender Jazz, 75 reissue, made in 1997, and just wondered wether the truss rod would be imperial or metric. Both the 4mm or the 5/32 sit a bit loose in the bullet truss rod and I suspect the bullet may need replacing. Bassassin Posted January 22, 2015 Share Posted January 22, 2015 I've had a lot of MIJ basses (including licensed Fender products), and the only non-metric allen screws I've ever encounterted have been the pole pieces in the DiMarzio pickups fitted as standard to many early 80s instruments.
