Wow, some of the best funk I've ever heard. Rod and Johnnie Wilder were a funk force. you can really hear Rod Temperton's influence on this record, with the strings and general musicality. he just seems to add that something to a record. i guess thats why Thriller sounds so good. its what i call (in my musical vocabulary) classy sh*t. [/quote]i agree he's very unknown to a lot of people. but produced/played on some of the greatest music ever written. but i guess you could say that for a lot of the great musician/producers. apart from quincy jones i guess.

when people think Micheal Jackson Thriller, Rod Temperton is not a name that springs to mind..
