JTUK
Loved Stuff.... and Richard Tee was an absolute monster. I didn't think I would like them so much after I heard Gordon Edwards as I was looking/expecting a more a spectacular bass but you could argue he was the catelyst and got them all together as a house band at a NY club. Besides, they had so many front line stars, they'd have been no place for Will Lee, for example who along with Miller and Levin were probably the 1st calls in the NY session scene from whence they all came... not that Lee couldn't groove. I haven't had my turntable set up for ages so I can't listen to the vinyl but thank god for Youtube. Edited August 8, 2014 by JTUK
deanovw
Watching that makes me want a P bass with flat wounds and an SVT rig. Which is the complete opposite to what I use! Awesome. Edited August 9, 2014 by deanovw
Doddy
Stuff are just straight up groovy. I bought Live that Montreux DVD as soon as it came out, I've got a couple of albums too. Great band of great players. I'm a huge Gadd fan anyway and I think that Richard Tee is one of the greatest keys players.
blue
I remember the days when this genre of music was huge. Personally I love it. What happened over here in the US, did we just decide we didn't like talent and great collaborative music anymore? Blue
