Pow_22
I had one of these a while back and loved the feel and tone. However the one major thing that led me to sell it was the placement of the pickup. To say it didnt line up with the strings was an understatement! The E string was so far off the pole peice that the note kind of 'bloomed' - as in the initial pluck didnt register but then a millisecond of so after the note bloomed out. Question is do other players of this bass have this or did i just get a dog?
Cat Burrito
Either you had a dog or mine is a great one. I actually attempted my 1st review of mine here http://basschat.co.uk/topic/230129-cabronita-precision-bass-a-review/page__p__2372375__hl__squier%20cabronita__fromsearch__1#entry2372375
theyellowcar
The feedback on here and my own experience with recent Squiers would suggest that you were extremely unlucky to get a bad one. The Squier range from VM upwards is rated very highly.
