gary mac Posted April 4, 2014 Share Posted April 4, 2014 Can't imagine a thin layer of plastic will have much inpact on the magnetic field. The problem I've found with some of these type of replacements is more to do with their actual size/shape not quite fitting the cutouts in the pick guard.
