Thanks mates! Just for the record, I own one of those "very sought-after" 1966 Jazz bass, typical transition model (dots and binding fingerboard). Well, this 71 is in every respect as great as that other one. Light, resonant, and the PUs sound stunning. Construction-wise is quite simply a perfect Jazz Bass. And the condition is one of the best I have seen.

I have a '72, in much the same sort of condition.
When I first played it, I was with a bass friend - he said "what's it like to play?"
I said, "it's like it's got magic in it!"

If it's anything like mine, the new owner would not be disappointed.

Really, really nice.

Good luck - hope it goes to a good home and gets played and not put under the bed!!

Cheers. :)

Nice PBasses out there?

I bought a great Ray off Drums so have no fear in dealing with this man.
I also have a 1970 P, but don't think I could part with it :)
