Thanks to all who replied so far, there have been some tempting offers - but I've narrowed down to what I'm looking for.

It has to be a Fender jazz, pref with 70's pickup spacing and a block and bound neck; or a recent (post 2012) American Standard/Deluxe.

As previously mentioned, I will add cash for the right deal.

Alternatively, if anybody wants to buy the Stingray.. i will accept cash or bank transfers.

I just sold a fender jazz to buy an 07 3eq ray for the reverse reason , i couldnt get on with a thin neck.

Build quality is right up there . Really supprised by the amount of tones available from that big single pu along with the active 3 band eq. I am not aware of any of the cliches regarding the g string etc ...
Im a total stingray convert ..

Bump for a great bass at a good price -:)
