You are correct :)

Edit: Just realised, the video is also the Leeds recording. It just seems the tab isn't very accurate, or the person who wrote the tab it tabbed the wrong version.

It sounds very pentatonic style to me, something Jon was big on, without knowing it or so the rumours go aha! But yeah, sounds like a pentatonic riff that goes up and down while peddling in the middle, if you know what chords he's playing that under/over then you're away :)
