Jag_Bassist Posted January 25, 2014 Share Posted January 25, 2014 Hey guys, i have an electro harmonic switchblade which I'm using to switch between bass and synth into one amp. unfortunately the signals of both are really quiet when i use it. i assume thats because the pedal is passive? would an active A B Y switch like the mooer option solve this? also does anyone know of an a b y that has separate level controls? Prime_BASS Posted January 27, 2014 Share Posted January 27, 2014 The LS-2 will do what you want. Instrument one into return A and 2nd into return B, output to amp. Nessy Posted January 27, 2014 Share Posted January 27, 2014 (edited) Probably too late, but using a passive ABY pedal in A or B mode between 2 instruments to 1 amp really shouldn't cause any signal degradation at all (assuming you haven't changed anything else in your set-up to accommodate it e.g. removing a buffered pedal) - it's literally just an extension of a guitar cable. arcureo Posted January 30, 2014 Share Posted January 30, 2014 Yeah, just for the fact that it is passive it means that is just a switch. Almost no circuitry at all (almost).
