CoolCol Posted October 18, 2013 Share Posted October 18, 2013 Hi peps Although I registered a while ago I thought it was time to introduce myself to you folks on Basschat. I was originally a skin basher for several years & played in a few bands, i.e. country but mainly the old style rock n roll. But deep down I have always been a frustrated bass player, so aprox 5yrs ago started to learn bass & have been playing on & off ever since. Late last year I thought it was time to get back to playing in a band, even though i'm not as good at playing bass as I was on the sticks, & put this together with the fact that i'd never sung before, we thought we would give it a go. It's been said, your never to old, & although were in the over 50's club & not being brilliant we have got something up & running, a folk/country/rock band/trio & if your interested, visit [color=#0000ff][i]hartleysjamband.co.uk [/i][/color] Any constructive tips or criticism welcomed. It's not about perfection, it's about enjoyment. I have already enjoy reading some of the forums and comments on Basschat site. It looks a friendly site & i'm looking forward to see where it leads.
