Up for sale is my custom built Watson Fretless bass

Its a fine instrument but i really don't play enough fretless stuff to warrant keeping hold of it.

It's a custom bass made for me by a company called Watson, a Californian based company headed by a Scot named Alex Watson.

Here are the specs listed:

Materials: Top:Spalted Maple: Core:Sycamore and Curly Maple + E. Indian Rosewood
Fingerboard: Kingwood
Pickups: Watson Humbuckers switchable between single coil and parallel
Electronics: Audere 4-band 18v
Hardware: Gold
Bridge: Hipshot-A 19mm spacing
Tuners: Gotoh GT-350
Options: Single Cut, Strings through Body
Finish: High Gloss with custom green tint on top wood

its also extremely light!

Its in near mint condition, with only extremely minor wear on the fret board. With that in mind I'd be looking for a sale price of £1850.

Also includes a branded 'Watson' gig bag that has excellent padding.


I'm based in Newcastle, and would ideally like to deal with a buyer based in the north of england who is willing to come and either collect it, or meet me half way - however i would be able to ship the bass if needs be.

I would also consider trades on a 5/6 string MTD bass of some kind - preferably the Andrew Gouche sig model!
