Delberthot Posted August 21, 2013 Share Posted August 21, 2013 (edited) I've recently joined a new band and after 2 auditions and one rehearsal I had my first gig with them last Thursday at Whistle Binkies in Edinburgh. A nicer group of guys you'll never meet - they've gone way beyond the call of duty to make me feel at home. My first band ever since I picked up the bass at age eleven with two guitarists, its taken some getting used to. I've been used to filling out the low end, especially during guitar solos, so its really refreshing to find that I don't need to play a million notes when only a few are needed. I have had a sh!tload of songs to learn but there are some crackers in the set. Pump It Up - Elvis Costello, Song 2 - Blur, Mr Sharona - The Knack are but a small selection of what's on offer Anyway, click [url="http://www.bigtuna.co.uk/"]HERE[/url] to find out where we are playing next.
